Tough question, what is your favourite Mario game?
Personally I love the Paper Mario Series, especially The Thousend Year Door. Mario Galaxy is great too.

Hmm...I've got to say Paper Mario & the Thousand year door is my favourite. Pity, I had to sell that game, recently... ... :( Also, Luigi's Mansion is worth mentioning. As is Super Mario Galaxy.
I'd like to give my review of them, but I think it'll be a bit long... Mind you, it does give me an idea...

My favorite would be Super Mario World on Super Nintendo. I also like Super Mario All-Stars and the original Super Mario Bros. game (even though I played it on Super Mario All-Stars and Game Boy Color).

Probably either Paper Mario: The Thousand Year (Title) Door, or Super Mario Sunshine. Super Mario Galaxy 2 may be on the list though, it has Yoshi in.

Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy... here's hoping Galaxy 2 can top it.
As for spin-offs, my favourite is Mario Strikers Charged. Football with no rules and lots of violence? Yes please... even if it does get frustratingly difficult later on.
