This thread is to discuss any ideas for games you may have. You can gain feedback, or just get some help with anything you're unsure about.

You may also use this thread to discuss anything about the games in this forum.

So yeah, hopefully this thread will prove useful.

Guess I'll start with one I've had on my mind.

It's an RP based on the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. The basic gist of it is:
You wake up one day as a Pokémon with no memory of how you came to be that way. You are found by another Pokémon who helps you and informs you of distbances in the Pokémon world. Many evil Pokémon are running wild. Powerful legendaries are also rampaging.
The Pokémon proposes you form a rescue team with them. You agree as you have nothing else to do, and doing so may help you get to the bottom of things.
You must adventure through this new world of pokemon along with your new partner and discover what is going on.

-You can choose what Pokémon you want to be. First form only though. The same goes for your partner.
-Along the adventure you may evolve if you wish. Keep in mind, if you need an item to evolve you will need to locate one first.
-You can recruit other Pokémon if you want. But keep in mind, you may only have three other team members, including your partner.
-You can choose how your Pokémon look but nothing radically different from the official designs. For example no neon pink Pikachus or anything like that.
-You may have accesories but don't overload your Pokémon with them.

So yeah that's what I have. I'm still not sure how to make it work well, I've never made a game like this before. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? And most importantly, would any of you actually be interested in playing it?

Whilst I personally am not a player of the Mystery Dungeon franchise, I'd probably give that a go.

"I'd approve the game more if ya could pick what your character could say in different situations other than just Yes or No when they ask a question. And depending on your choice how the storyline goes, or the game ends.
"And the game has to have a very sad at the end. But when you feel it's over unlockable content appears! Like, anime videos of the Pokemon Dungeons- past adventure scripts, art, and profiles of the game designers!
"They should also have unlockable Minigames that you get to play based on the storyline. So that way you play the game differently each time to unlock 'em all.
"And of course they should let you talk to your team mates- maybe depending on Pokemon type give them all different backgrounds. That'd be cool!"
