| So I'm making a Tails avi on GIMP. I put the text 'Tails' on it but it's surrounded by a box. But every time I try to smudge the picturew of Tails, it dosen't work, the only thingthat smudges is the text. Help.
Okay I've got that bit sorted, but when I try to upload it it says the type is not valid! I use tinypic to uplad pictures. Any help?

| Does GIMP work on layers?
If so, you've probably only got the text layer selected. If you're happy with where the text is, merge the layers. If you don't want the text smudged, select the picture layer.
If it doesn't use layers, I haven't the foggiest. | |

| When you go to save the picture change the file type to .png
It should work, and you'll get good quality. | |

I recommend a better font than that and a darker colour.

| By using the smudge, and dodge and burn tools.
It's best to use PNG images of Tails when making avatars. You won't get the little white bits around the edges. | |
