Pokémon Game Recent Happenings Thread

The Elite 4 themselves were relatively little trouble. Iris however was just a pain.

Also, now I've caught Cresselia. I had to use my Master Ball on her as the other balls were proving ineffective. I had thrown about 20 of the damn things and not one shake, even when her health was incredibly low.

Caught Latias a while ago. She proved to be useful. And earlier today, I caught Reshiram and later on, Kyurem. Fusing the two together essentially creates God in Dragon form. When my brother comes home for Christmas along with his DS, I might transfer my Kyurem and Zekrom from White 1 over to White 2. That way, I could have both White Kyurem and Black Kyurem at the same time. I probably won't do much with them, but it would just be for bragging rights in the end.

With all that said and done, I think I'm pretty much done with the game. Yeah, there are other legendaries to seek not to mention things like Extralink but to be honest... I really can't be bothered. Overall, BW2 is a Pokemon game I certainly recommend, though pretty much only if you played the original games last year. Next main game, however needs to be on the 3DS. You've got no excuse next time. And while I'm a fan of the sprites, I think it's time to move on to 3D models. Hell, Black and White had its share of models in cutscenes. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future of Pokemon has in store.

Am I missing something here? I thought it wasn't out until Saturday. That's when my Amazon copy arrives at least.

Annnnnd my copy of Pokemon X didn't arrive. Middle fingers, Royal Mail! Middle fingers to you all. Now I'll have to wait until Monday at the earliest.

Are you serious? It still didn't arrive? There has to be something wrong here.

I plan on buying the game tomorrow. I had enough of waiting too long and got in touch with Amazon today to request a refund. It's not something I blame Amazon themselves for; they're usually very good at delivering on time for me.

Conversely, I bought the game on my way home this evening. I got it from Tesco, meaning it comes with a code to net you 12 Quick Balls from the start.

I've yet to start playing and I will probably wait until tomorrow. I had a very lively day today and I just want to kick back and relax.

Got Alpha Sapphire almost a week ago and playing during my down time (which sadly hasn't been a lot). I won't go over my full team, but I do want to bring up that I'm training a Ralts. I've heard some bad stories from players who feel like Ralts is dead weight until the final evolution, but he is my challenge in this game. I aim to fully evolve him to Gallade by the end of the game, even if it destroys me.
