For the 100th time, it's Mew!!

Has anyone these days actually watched the 1st Pokemon Movie? It CLEARLY states that Mew is the most powerful Pokemon of all time!! And when people say, ' But that was BEFORE Arceus came along, he's the strongest!' , is wrong, when you come to think of it. If Arceus created Sinnoh, he's obvioulsy been around for longer than Mew. What are your thoughts? Is Mew the most Powerful Pokemon of all time?

Difficult to say, really...

Certainly not in the games, it's not. Arceus can be any type whilst Mew can only transform.

Besides, it's people's opinion (the ones in the story, ja). And don't forget when that movie was created.

In base stats it's Acreus, with a total of 720.
The next highest is 680, which includes 9 Pokémon:
Dialga. Giratina, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Reshiram & Zekrom, but with Mewtwo's stupidly high base Special attack of 154 & a brilliant move pool, Mewtwo is actually stronger, if used right.

Don't get my wrong, Mew is very powerful, with a perfectly even & powerful base stats of 600, & can know every single TM you give it, it's almost unbeatable. Mewtwo can defeat it though, in almost every instance except for if Mew uses a powerful physical dark move as Mewtwo's defence is a bit lower then Mew's attack, which is the only trump Mew has against it. Sadly the only way Mew can do that is getting one through Metronome, which it learns at level 20...of course, this is rare, as all metronome attacks are random.
