| Almost everyone who ever played on Blue or Red has heard about MissingNo., brought about by glitch of the Old Man in Viridian City, & Seafoam island coastline.
This glitch if formed by the Old Man's battle scene as he replaces your name with "Old man" for that scene, thus the Blue & Red, once it's was put right, created a leak in the spare 105 empty wild encounter slots (As the games uses a Hexadecimal system for it's programming that's how Action replay, etc, can hack it.) in the game with very small detail they omitted at Seafoam island west coast; They put down Pokémon will appear there, in game's code, but not specifying which ones, thus bringing forth MissingNo., & his mean, corruptive cousin M'.
What do you think of MissingNo.?
Have you ever met has Generation III brother yet..? , Etc...

Originally, Kangaskhan's evolution chain (yes, she has one) was to be Cubone > Marowak > Kangaskhan (*several WTFs can be heard from the crowd*) and Kangaskhan was to be the Ghost of Lavender Tower. Close. Cubone, Marowak & Kangaskhan were supposed to but from the same family, but it was supposed to be branch evolution (Cubone > Marowak/Kangaskhan) as confirmed by their Beta US names; Orpha (Orphan (Cubone)), Guardia (Guardian (Marowak)) & Mother (Kasgaskhan), but they couldn't decide how make the branch, so they took it out months before the Japanese release. Oddly, this Branched-evolution problem could have been solved with simply adding genders to the Pokémon in the first generation of games. Ever looked at a Cubone & a Baby Kangaskhan, & seen the resemblance? You may also noticed MissingNo. First type is "Bird", not "flying", as stated in the English version. This is through an "Engrish" incident, if you know what I mean, the Beta version did actually say "Bird", they just didn't omit it from MissingNo.'s types, for obvious reasons that they never thought it'd be discovered. Anyway, you asked how to get Ruby/Sapphire MissingNo.? You do need a GameShark*, or Action Replay* cartridge, but he is there.
