Anything you didn't like in HeartGold/SoulSilver?

I don't like that the wild Pokemon are so weak or there's no VS seeker, meaning there are no places to train and this leaves your Pokemon under-leveled.

Also there's no Pokeradar which means getting shinies in harder.

- There is a type of VS. seeker on them...but you're right, it is quite poor in comparison to the one that first came out on Fire Red / Leaf Green.

- Though, you can rematch really strong trainers if you know how (The Gym leaders, to be precise), you have to call them on the exact right time, on the right day to get a rematch...first of course, you need their number to call them, which be difficult to obtain... Not everyone has 24/7 to spare to get both the Gym Leaders numbers & call them on the appropriate day...so though, I know on paper, it is a good idea...but, it just makes it frustrating...

- The Catchable Pokémon on HeartGold / SoulSilver are few & far between, too... It takes 60 days in the safari zone, just for Riolu to appear...I been playing for just about a month now...I should to haven't wait another 50-odd days for the safari zone to change...
I do like the way the Radio can be used to find certain ones, though.

Houndoom are so hard to find

I have to waste a Water Stone to complete the darned Ruins of Alph

Mantine are near impossible to catch

I capitalised my character's name, just to find out that that isn't used in HG/SS

The RageCandyBar man's a tw*t, not letting me out of the town, even when I've beaten Pryce

They didn't make the Persians reactivate in the Rocket base - those are good training things

The GTS is a frickin' rip-off merchants - I put a Cyndaquil in 9 days ago and just yesterday did I receive what i wanted - a simple Ledbya

I haven't encountered any shinies yet... well, 'cept Gyarados

Houndour is easy to find, if you know where. Go to Route 7 after 8pm, & there you'll fnd 'em. You have about a 1 in 10 chance of encountering one.
I had dream last night of catching a shiny one, so I'm going there right now, too.

Defeat Red at Mt. Silver then go the Mr. Pokémon (the guy you got the "mystery egg" from), & he'll give you either a Red orb or a Blue orb, depending on which version you're playing.

Lol, that same thing happened to me with Entei. Also I found it in the water which was weird since it's a fire type.

The fact those things are able to run on water thereby breaking the laws of physics gets me.

Thats sucks, there's normally something to do. Diamond Pearl and Platinum had some extra areas.

If you want some boundless optimism, yes, there is (well, on MY HG timeline, there is, though I just stormed the Gyms and Red and didn't bother with the side stuff)

Copycat - y'know, the girl in Saffron who tells you to do stuff - has lost her Clefairy doll, which is in the Fanclub in Vermillion. When you find it, Steven tells you about Latios/Latias.

Acquire all your Trainer card stars. There are five in total, and here is how you get them;

1 - Defeat the Elite four
2 - Collect 5 gold leaves
3 - Get the top score on every Pokéathlon event.
4 - Get 100 wins in Battle tower
5 - Complete National Pokédex (It will still count as "complete" even if you don't catch; Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin or Arceus.)
