I'm liking the new Legendary Pokemon. A lot of people prefer Yvetal but I'm actually leaning more toward Xerneas. Maybe it's because most of the mainstream Legendary Pokemon in the series have been either birds or dragons and Xerneas is perhaps one of the most elegant Legendary Pokemon ever. That's not to say I don't like the look of Yvetal but Xerneas is influencing me to get X over Y. But we'll see as more details are released.

I hated the design at first but it's kinda grown on me now. I wonder if it's a form or some other clone of Mew.

Four new Pokemon are revealed in this one image:
Pokemon X and Y PokemonXY04

Their names are (in clockwise order):
Yanchamu (Fighting Type)
Gogoat (Grass Type)
Elikiteru (Electric/Normal Type)
Yayakoma (Normal/Flying Type)

I'm assuming these are their Japanese names.

EDIT: The region is now known as Karos in the Japanese version and is, as I'm sure you could figure out from the trailer, based on France. The main city is known as Maire City. Not only that, it's been confirmed you can customise your trainer which is something I definitely approve of.

Liking the new Pokémon, that little bird especially. Wonder if, and what they'll evolve into.

Nintendo held a special Pokemon X & Y Nintendo Direct today. Here are the announcements:

Pokemon Bank will be a downloadable 3DS software which, when used with Black/White, Black/White 2 and X/Y, will let you store Pokemon on an online service. However, it's an annual fee system.

Poke Transfer will be the next method of transferring Pokemon from past games.

Finally, the way you receive your Starter Pokemon in this game works a bit differently than before. Instead of receiving the Pokemon of your choice from a Professor, it's instead given to you by a friend of the Trainer. However, you do meet the Pokemon Professor who will give you the choice of the original Gen. 1 Starter Pokemon. Furthermore, the fully evolved versions of these Pokemon all come with Mega Evolution Forms (I have to say, Mega Blastoise looks scary... like, very scary).

Only a month left to go...

Also, the information in this topic seems pretty sparce. Want me to throw down a run-down? I'm very involved in finding new info thanks to running a Pokemon roleplay group

CoroCoro magazine has some new scans showing off some new Pokemon. It also confirms the full Evolutions of the three Starter Pokemon and reveals, get this, TWO Mega versions of Mewtwo depending on the version you're playing.

Pokemon X and Y Tumblr_mu1jmr7rtq1qckr93o1_500

Charizard finally became a dragon type. Too bad I already preordered Y, not that the Y version of Charizard isn't awesome too though.

I wonder if Blastoise and Venusaur get different versions too. Seems pretty likely.

So, since X and Y have been out for about a month now, what are everyone's favourite aspects, and Gen 6 Pokémon?

The likelihood of a Pokémon Z version in a new region seems pretty high, going by all the hints in the game.
