Videogame series you find overrated.

Pretty much a gaming series you don't understand why everyone else likes it.

For me, the Marvel Vs. Capcom games. It's sad because they look fun to play and have some of my favourite characters but when it comes down to remembering long button combos (which are pretty much required to do well), I just can't get them to stick in my head. And thus it just comes down to me randomly tapping buttons and hoping for the best.

What about you?

The Sims.

I find it gets very boring very fast.

Left 4 Dead, World of Warcraft, Mabinogi, Mario, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, The Sims, Harvest Moon, Pokemon (more recently than anything)... the list could go on a LONG time.

Call me prejudiced or whatnot, but I don't tend to like anything that's not RPG, with few exceptions.

Left 4 Dead is gorey, which isn't a good one with me. Same goes for Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty.

World of Warcraft is a Skinner Box MMO, which I hate. Same with Mabinogi, though I hate that less.

Mario is overrated, and I find all of the Mario games, bar Mario Kart, rather annoying, especially when Mario dies and goes "Mamma-mia!".

The Sims gets old quickly, and you need to go on every day to keep it up.

Harvest Moon gets REALLY old VERY quickly, as there's not really anything to do.

Pokemon's getting worse and we all know it.

Dare I say it, Mario. Sure, he's got some epic games ( Take Galaxy for example) but I think there should be something new added to the story. Saving Peach gets really annoying.

My point exactly, Wally. I like Mario Kart, because for once, you're NOT saving Peach. :3

Metroid in my opinion. I played Metroid Prime and Fusion, Fusion had its fun moments and I didn't enjoy Prime. I just don't see anything special about the series. Sorry to anyone who likes the series, it just wasn't my cup of tea.

"Though I play the series, I'd have to say Resident Evil. They're really fun and all, but to me you lose the scare real fast according to all the stinkin' jump-out scares and the chainsaw dudes. You end up angry and in a cussing fit instead of terrified. Sure, the graphics get better, but I get bored real fast when the storyline goes on and on with the virus. The bosses aren't real enough for me, and some of them remind me of Silent Hill rather than RE. And on top of that, the characters around you get cut down like lambs to slaughter. It's anoying. Simply point at one character NOT the main dudes and I garuntee he's going down.

In defence of mario surley its the gameplay that matters not the story?

I know thats youre opinion, but just because you always have to save a princess doesnt mean its a bad game
