Crazy Taxi: Catch A Ride - GBA - 8/10

A little slow, but otherwise a fun version of Crazy Taxi. Kudos to the developers for shrinking down Crazy Taxi into a tiny GBA cart.

Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse - NES - 7.8/10

Never played a Castlevania game but this is apparently the best of the three NES games. So I downloaded it and I don't regret it one bit. Great music, great weapons, fantastic platforming and best of all, it's hard. It wouldn't be Castlevania if it wasn't.

GoldenEye 007 - Wii - 7/10

I've been playing this game for the past few days. It's a great shooter, too bad it gets unnecessarily frustrating towards the end (this is on the easiest setting). Still the multiplayer makes up for it.

WWE All-Stars Demo - X-Box 360 - 8/10

I would like to stress that I am no longer a WWE fan (and haven't been for a number of years), but when I heard that this game mixes a wrestling game with an arcade fighting game style, I was interested. So I gave the demo a go and, I'm not gonna lie, kinda want it now. It also helps that the roster consists of both wrestlers of today and wrestlers of the past when it was actually fun to watch.

Medival II : TOTAL WAR 10/10

One of my top five games ever. I love it.

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars - Wii - 8/10
If I could time travel, I'd go back to February 2010 and punch myself for trading it in the day after I bought it the first time. I guess that's why pencils have erasers.

Sonic Colors for Wii - 9/10

A great game, just a lot of fun to play. Love the cutscenes and they even made me laugh. It is challenging in some parts and the graphics look great, especially on Planet Wisp.

Sonic 4: Episode 1 - 5/10

I'm sorry but I was right to be skeptical. It's nothing like the originals. I know that's a bit unfair considering the game isn't completely out yet but still. It's good in some areas and the music's pretty good but poor physics and bad level design just keep it from being rather enjoyable for me. It just feels like an under-whelming experience.

EDIT: Actually, I raise it up to a six but that may just be because I have all the emeralds now.

Super Mario Bros. 2 - All-Stars Version - 6.8/10

Even though it's a re-skin of the Japan-only Doki Doki Panic, it's still holds up pretty good on its own.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - Wii - 7/10

This is nothing like the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC version of Hot Pursuit. Still, it's a fun arcade-style cops vs. street racer racing game.

I had that on PSP. I agree, the dialogue was awesome. Especially from Cortex.

Portal 2 - PC - 9/10

I haven't finished it yet so I'm unable to properly compare it to its predecessor (aside from length of course) but that moment will come. I've also set a goal for myself to not use a walkthrough of any sort... I fear for my sanity.

I was thinking of getting portal, so its good to know you rate it highly.

You can forget my goal to do it without any help. I kind of wish I hadn't though because I felt really stupid when the solution was right in front of me.
And if you get this on PC, let me know then we can try out Co-Op mode.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - 8/10.

To me, the last great Tony Hawk game. Seriously, Activision, go back to your roots and get rid of that broken, silly-looking and over-priced peripheral of yours. It was a nice experiment but the Wii Balance Board would have done better (though please don't do that either). Trust me, you'll be a better company for it.
